DBT Skills Games
Players don't make accounts, and nothing they type, draw or answer in a game is saved.
Just a nickname and the room code. Suggest first names or made-up nicknames, not full names.
No. Answers, guesses, drawings and nicknames exist only while the game is running. They're deleted when the host ends the game or starts another one, or after two hours with no activity.
All of this is kept in one database on a private network that can't be reached from the internet, not with a cloud service.
No. We don't share or sell any information, and there are no ads or tracking.
As on most websites, the lettering loads from Google Fonts, and the answer-key QR code from Cloudflare. No game information goes to either. The Resources page links to other websites, which have their own privacy policies.
The solo games at /solo/ (Skillword, Four of a Kind, Cross Talk, the practice quiz, The Ask and Hat Trick) don't ask for a name and send nothing to the server. Progress, like a Skillword streak, a best time or a settings choice, is saved only in that browser, and clearing the browser's site data deletes it. A host who is signed in also sees a "Report a problem" button there, for sending the team a problem report about the game; clients playing on their own never see it. Anyone can use the "Report an issue" link at the bottom of the page, which sends only what they write and which page they were on.
Please don't. This is a skills-review game, not a medical-records system. Ask players not to type names, diagnoses or personal stories into answers.
The same goes for problem reports: describe the problem with the game, not the people playing it.
Questions? Ask the clinician running your group, or the program that set up your host account.
